Our Roots: From Shared Kitchen to Community Hub
Havasu Together evolved from The Kitchen Art Work Space (KAWS)—a shared kitchen concept launched in 2019 to help local makers create value-added products in a commercial kitchen. The success of this space sparked the launch of the Lake Havasu Farmers Market, which has since grown into a cornerstone of our community. Building on that success, a passionate group of volunteers introduced the Youth Market and, most recently, the Night Market in partnership with First Fridays.
To unify these efforts, Havasu Together was formed in 2021 and is now powered by:
-
A board of directors
-
A committed team of volunteers and organizers
-
Three market managers
-
A retail market coordinator

What We Offer
Our markets support dozens of vendors and producers from Mohave and La Paz Counties, offering:
-
Fresh produce, eggs, honey, mushrooms, wild-caught seafood, baked goods, coffee, and other locally made goods
-
Support for food access programs including SNAP/EBT, Double Up Food Bucks, and WIC/Senior Nutrition through the Arizona Farmers Market Nutrition Program
Empowering the Next Generation
The Lake Havasu Youth Market provides a biannual platform for young entrepreneurs to present and sell their own creations.
The Night Market creates a vibrant downtown experience with local food, music, shopping, and connection—building culture and collaboration.
More Than Markets
Havasu Together also:
-
Distributes food throughout Mohave and La Paz Counties
-
Operates a retail store at The KAWS
-
Partners with the Purchase Local Arizona Program to deliver 120 farm bags monthly (for 10 months) to every elementary school in the Lake Havasu Unified School District. This program provides 20 families per school with $20 worth of fresh, Arizona-grown produce and eggs—completely free.
